Every story begins somewhere.
I’ve always believed stories have the power to comfort, connect, inspire, and heal.
Long before Foxtrail Press existed, I was the child filling notebooks with ideas, stories, and dreams of becoming an author one day. Growing up in Germany, creativity became my escape, my comfort, and eventually my purpose.
Life later took me on a journey—from the creative energy of London to the sunshine of San Diego—where I built my career in healthcare leadership and operations. But through every chapter of life, storytelling quietly remained part of who I was.
As a mother, I became deeply inspired by the emotional challenges many children and families face today—anxiety, overstimulation, self-doubt, friendship struggles, and the quiet courage it takes simply to grow through change. Those experiences inspired me to finally bring my own stories to life.
But while building my first book, I quickly discovered how overwhelming and disconnected the publishing world could feel. Traditional publishers often felt unreachable, while many hybrid publishing companies focused more on transactions than relationships. There was little warmth, little guidance, and very little creativity in the process itself.
So I created the kind of creative space I wished had existed for me.
Foxtrail Press was built to be more than a publishing company. It’s a warm, creative home for storytellers, dreamers, entrepreneurs, educators, and authors of all kinds—from children’s books and fiction to journals, workbooks, wellness brands, and creative ideas waiting to come alive.
